连续接触器的设计主要用于车辆的驱动功能，它们的接通和断开速度比间歇螺线管慢，建议长时间接触。主触点电路具有内置故障安全装置，因此如果两个线圈同时通电，触点布置将处于开路状态。DC66P 具有双断路主触点，触点尖端为银合金，耐焊接、耐磨且导电性极佳。DC66P 具有 M6 主螺柱端子，线圈连接采用 6.3 毫米铲形端子。
