MPN: 374Z-05254
Manufacturer: TE Connectivity / Jaquet
Drawing number 111496F1

Hall-effect single-channel speed sensor for hazardous areas. Produces a square-wave frequency proportional to rotational speed when paired with a ferromagnetic pole wheel. Intrinsically safe, maintenance-free design for harsh environments (oil, grease, vibration).

  • Hall-effect single channel, push-pull square-wave output
  • Supply 8–28 VDC, max ripple 25 mVpp
  • Frequency range: 0.05 Hz to 20 kHz
  • Short-circuit and reverse-polarity protected
  • Stainless steel housing (1.4305), hermetically sealed face
  • Ingress protection: IP68 (head), IP67 (cable)
  • Shock 20 g/20 ms; vibration 5 g (5–2000 Hz)
ATEX / IECEx

Gas: II 2 G Ex ia IIC T6 Gb
Dust: II 2 D Ex ia IIIC T155 °C Db (series also certified to T200 °C per supplement)

  • Ambient (Gas), Type 1 cable versions: −20 °C … limit per Table 1 for T-class (T1–T6)
  • Ambient (Dust): −20 °C … +100 °C (T155 °C); series also certified to T200 °C per supplement

Observe EC Type Ex certificate ZELM 03 ATEX 0124X and supplements for power-limited barriers and ambient limits.

Typical Applications

Turbomachinery, rotating equipment in oil & gas, industrial drives, and process control systems in hazardous areas.

Installation notes:
  • Mount sensor face centered over pole wheel; keep ≥3 mm from wheel edge under all operating conditions.
  • Route sensor cable away from high-power conductors and large machines to reduce EMI.
  • Set the smallest practical air gap that prevents contact during operation.

Note: Product details summarized from TE Connectivity / Jaquet documentation for DSF xx10.xx xHV Ex-atex series (incl. specific listing for DSF 1410.00 SHV Ex-atex 5 m). Always verify suitability with the official datasheet and certificate for your application.
