Albright SW80-745 12V DC single-acting solenoid contactor with continuous duty and mounting bracket.
The SW80 series contactors are specifically designed for direct current applications, particularly for motors in small electric vehicles like light industrial trucks and powered mobility vehicles. These contactors feature double-breaking contacts with Silver-alloy tips, known for their weld resistance, durability, and excellent conductivity. They offer a cost-effective solution compared to sealed automotive solenoid switches, which do not allow for servicing or inspection of contact wear.
This unit includes the 2126-48A mounting bracket and is equipped with an auxiliary switch kit, part number 2070-124. The contactor features standard 6.3mm spade terminals on the upper coil and 4.8mm spade terminals on the lower. It comes with an enclosed top cover, a fitted diode, and includes special terminals and nuts.
Continuous contactors by design are predominantly used for drive functions on vehicles, they make and break slower than intermittent solenoids and are recommended for prolonged contact periods.
